Note: I was thinking that OXT works with the endogenous opioid system, but Pat tells me that she thinks the studies claiming to show this are probably flawed (because of the way they measure OXT in plasma), and that OXT really functions to reduce fear and anxiety.  Don't know about you, but my money's on Pat...
